We are a unique boutique based in Chancery Lane. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction. We offer unbiased and friendly advice, and always seek to satisfy the customer, because when she walks out looking great she feels wonderful in herself. Our e-shop’s aim is to offer the same level of service whilst at the same time protecting your privacy and offering you a truly secure site.

Postage and Packaging Costs

We do not seek to make any profit on your postage costs.

We charge £8 for UK orders, £20 for EU orders and £35 for overseas orders.

All orders over £250 are free postage!

We use a courier company to deliver your goods which we can track efficiently. If you are local to us we can hand deliver your goods free of charge....we would instantly refund you your postage costs were we to deliver by hand!

How to pay and security

Payment can be made securely online by Visa, Master Card, or Switch and Maestro debit cards. Our eShop also offers a telephone payment method. Please telephone 0207 025 2350 or 00 44 207 025 2350 from abroad in shop hours Mon – Fri 9 am ‘til 6 pm. When we are closed there is always an answering machine on! As always please email us on shop@madham.co.uk if you have any queries. We would like you to feel as comfortable ordering from our eShop online as you would do if you purchased something from us in Chancery Lane. Our e-shop uses the very latest encryption technology (SSL) to ensure that your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel across the Internet. When you proceed to make your purchase your browser makes a secure connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection and depending on your browser a window may pop up to notify you that you are entering a safe area. An acknowledgement of your order will be sent by e-mail. Please note that you must supply us with a valid email address in your order to receive your electronic order confirmation.

Delivery

Our aim is to send out your order within 48 hours of receipt of order. The joy of being a small company is that we can pay our full attention to customer service and we aim is to deliver your chosen items to the place and person of your choice, in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time. If there is going to be any delay beyond that we shall let you know by email (this is over and above your order confirmation email!)

Return/Exchange policy

We hope that you really like your purchase. If, however, for any reason at all you are not entirely satisfied, you may return any item in its original condition (with all the original tags attached) for a full refund, exchange or credit note, provided you do so within 14 working days of our despatch date. We will then either exchange the item (for which there will be a standard contribution to postage charges of £6) or provide you with a full refund or credit note. Please note that you are responsible for items sent back until they are received by us. We therefore recommend using an insured method such as recorded delivery that will need to be signed for by us. You may also return your purchase to the shop in Chancery Lane for an exchange, refund or credit note again having popped by within 14 days after the day of delivery. To help us process your return please bring your paperwork with you. Throughout all of this your statutory rights are unaffected. Please send all returns to Madeleine Hamilton, 92 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1DS. We do not accept any item with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser.

Pricing Policy and Countries we ship to

All prices indicated are inclusive of V.A.T (where applicable) at the current rate and are quoted in pounds sterling All merchandise offered on our website is available at the same price within our shop, unless specifically stated otherwise. We are happy to ship worldwide. However we are not registered for VAT free sales and every sale will carry UK VAT at the current rate (currently 17.5%) which will be automatically included in your bill. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

Product Representation

The colours of our products that you see on this website depend on the display and colour capabilities of your particular computer monitor and may not be the exact colour or representation of the actual merchandise. Please understand that we have made every effort to display the products featured on our website as accurately as possible, but we cannot be responsible for the colour accuracy of your monitor.

The display of any item on our website is not an offer to sell and we shall be under no obligation to supply the products ordered through this website. If you place an order, this will be your offer to purchase the items from us. We will acknowledge your order as soon as possible but will be under no obligation to supply the products ordered unless we have the products in stock.

By submitting an order to us through our website you represent and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. If the billing details for your order are the same as your delivery address details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing details.

This website is controlled and operated by Ede & Ravenscroft in the UK. These terms and conditions and all matters connected with any order you place in our website are governed by English law.
